Networks and Contacts
There are currently three main networks, the Local Groups, based on geographical location, Specialist Registrars (SpR), and the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCP):
Regional and National
The local pages provide useful contacts and information for each Government Office region of England and for the rest of the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
Listings include details of local meetings, College representatives, NTA regional managers and other government contacts.
If there is a network in your area for which information does not appear in these pages, please contact us with details and we will add it to the site.
In the SCAN First National Survey of Addiction Specialists (2004), 70% of respondents thought SCAN could be best utilised to assist existing networks. It also showed that 44% were not part of an existing network. If you would like assistance with an existing network, or help in setting up a new network, please contact us.
Specialist Registrars
This is a dedicated SpR page providing contacts for the network, the College and SCAN as well as information on training opportunities. We hope to broaden this page further with submitted material of particular interest to SpRs.

Information on the Faculty of Addictions can be found here including current members of the executive, regional representatives, and a link to the website.
