South East Region Addiction Psychiatrists' Forum

This forum was set up by South East region addiction psychiatrists with the support of SCAN and the NTA. The meeting is open to all South East region consultant psychiatrists, specialist registrars, associate specialists and staff grade doctors who work in a specialist NHS substance misuse service, and to research doctors in addiction. The meeting provides the opportunity for specialists to network and share good practice, and to discuss local and regional policy issues with each other, and with SCAN and the NTA. The chair is Dr John Crichton and the vice chair is Dr Rob Jackson. The forum is held every four months and runs from 12-4pm.

Hampshire Addiction Psychiatrists

This group is made up of career psychiatrists working in the addiction field in the Hampshire area. Consultants, associate specialists and staff grade doctors attend. It was initially set up to act as a PDP group but it is a useful forum for mutual support and information sharing. It meets four times a year.
